Héctor Núñez received his Doctorate in Education in 2014 from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB). He also has a degree in Social Education from the University of Santiago de Compostela. He has worked as a professor in the Department of Social Pedagogy at UAB since 2008. His devoted his doctoral research to participant-centered systems to take action in communities. He developed research phases at the Center for Research on Educational and Community Services (CRECS) of the University of Ottawa. He is a member of the Interdisciplinary Group for Educational Policy (GIPE/IGEP) and the Ibero-American Society of Social Pedagogy.
