Pere Soler-Masó has a PhD in Education and teaches in the Department of Pedagogy at the University of Girona. He is a member of the research group on Policy, Programs and Sociocultural and Educational Services (GRES) of the Institution of Educational Research at the University of Girona. He is the director of the joint Master’s in Youth and Society offered by six universities. His teaching and research are focused on social pedagogy through community development, youth policy and youth movements and associations. He has been the lead researcher on multiple projects about youth, education and youth policy: The participation of students in student government (2008), Evaluation of Youth Policy (2010) and Project HEBE: Youth Empowerment (2014).
