Research technician

Carolina is a pre-doctoral researcher in the Department of Communication at Pompeu Fabra University. She has worked on the editing and training of found footage supported by the Colombian Ministry of Culture’s National Research Scholarship in Film (2010). Her areas of research are the essayistic drift of European cinema and the points of convergence between cinematographic practice and theory. She is a founder of El perro que Ladra – Bcn, an association dedicated to the circulation of Colombian cinema in France and Spain. Her short films Quisiera la tarde (2011) and Iron (2014) were selections at the San Sebastián International Film Festival (Spain), Fjar International Film Festival (Iran) and the Bogotá International Film Festival (Colombia). She collaborates on projects dedicated to the pedagogy of cinema.
