Myrte Monseny is a philosopher (2001), social educator (2004) and youth technician (since 2007); she also completed her PhD in Education from the Autonomous University of Barcelona in December 2015. She works both as an associate professor in the Department of Pedagogy at the University of Girona and as a youth technician at the Catalan Youth Agency, an organization of the government of Catalonia. This allows her to combine academic reflection with professional practice. She is the author of several reports and an article titled: “Theoretical bases of the socioeducational intervention of youth technicians”.
