III International Congress SEI2019: Society, Education and Inclusion

Members of the HEBE Project’s team participated last April 24th, 25th and 26th in the “III International Congress SEI2019: Society, Education and Inclusion” in Granada, presenting a communication and the publication of the book chapter with Wolters Kluwers: “Cofluencias entre la práctica y la investigación para el empoderamiento de la comunidad educativa” (in Spanish) in the book La inclusion: una apuesta educative y social (in Spanish).

At the congress, organised by the Departamento de Didáctica y Organización Escolar of the Facultad de Ciencias de la Educación of the University of Granada, Pilar Rodrigo and Carme Trull presented the double dimension of empowerment: the one that evidences the growth and training of the professionals in the field of education and the one that emphasises the protagonists of educational processes. They stressed the importance of the community dimension as a relevant field for advancing in the logic of empowerment, taking as a reference three works of educational research, being one of them: the HEBE Project.
